By far the best and most authentic Mexican food in Miami Lakes and the surrounding areas. Cancun, On the Border and Salsa Fiesta are a joke in comparison. The place is tiny but there seems to always be a table for you which is great. You'll be in and out and well fed in 30 minutes. The food is great. Starting off with the chips and salsa, always fresh and delicious. I always order the chilles relenos on the weekends, it's a special. Other than that, anything you order is hot, fresh and really tasty. Perfect spot for lunch when you're working or a quick dinner where you don't want to get dressed up too much.

I absolutely love Mexican food, and I can definitely say this is the most authentic Mexican in all of Miami Lakes. Our only other option is really Cancun Grill-- which is great, but not authentic in the least. What I love about this place-- good service, good cheap drinks, a wonderful menu, decent food, and an authentic feel. Its not in the best shopping center, but its still great. Being next to Los Perros, I'd say its a stiff competition and I'll probably always opt for Los Perros over this but if you're not into that, totally understandable. Also worth trying. Cons-- prices. Their prices are entirely too high for the food they serve. I mean, its nothing out of this world and its no secret Mexican food is inexpensive to produce. After trying a few items from their menu over time, I gave up hope and will only come for their beer, which is moderately priced. I stay away from their food because Cancun definitely beats them in that area, even if it is not that authentic.

Down near Miami Gardens/Lakes you find this little hole in the wall restaurant with limited seating with ok Mexican food. The place is pretty rinky dinky, though they offer a few typical Mexican dishes I can't really say that the carne asada tacos I ordered were anything out of this world. I hate to leave such a bleh rating but unless I eat something worthy of telling others I won't. So this is my take... don't order the carne asada tacos if you're awaiting an out of this world experience. My mom on the other hand happens to love this place and a mole dish they serve but thats not my style.

So second time of eating here. First time I got steak quesadilla and this time I got enchiladas verses. I love authentic Mexican and this place fits that bill. Refried beans are really good and the green sala is spicy and full of flavor. I would highly recommend this place to eat.

I live in this area and have never been here before- shame on me because I loved the food here. As soon as you walk in, you'll feel like you are in a little shop in Mexico. The decor, the vibrant colors... Everything! As you sit, you are brought some chips and two types of salsa- a red and a green one.. Both spicy. I ordered the guacamole as an appetizer. I added lime to my liking but it was delicious and filled with cilantro! I ordered the chicken quesadilla and it was soooo good. The refried beans that came with it as a side were seasoned to perfection and not watery at all (some places tend to serve water refried beans). I will definitely be visiting Los Magueyes often!

Clean, friendly staff, very small inside about 8 tables. Tried the tacos, quesadillas, fajitas and burrito ranchero the food was fantastic, very authentic for Miami. Free chips & salsa a big hit with hungry patrons.

This restaurant is small and not much to look at, but it makes up for it with the food and prices. Good complementary chips and salsa to start your meal and if you're into spicy, make sure to ask for the green salsa. We ordered the carne asada tacos and tostadas de pollo. The tacos were great, the meat was flavorful and plentiful. The tostadas (2 per order) were huge and very tasty. I had a margarita, nothing to rave about but at $5.50 it's not a bad deal. Def. a great lunch spot, or good option to satisfy my Mexican craving at a decent price.

Ate here with my husband based on the reviews from yelp. We were both pleased overall. The service was fast and very friendly. Food was served fresh, hot and full of flavor. I chose the chicken burrito with mole sauce. They used all white chicken breast. They did not skimp on the chicken. The portions are large so bring an appetite.

Restaurant always full now i know why , the food is exelente , great friendly waitress , they know the Menu Deserve 5 stars
I've been going to this place for years and it's been fairly consistent. Ceviche is great, Salsa is amazing, mole sauce on the side is extra, stay away from the steak options (opt for chicken instead), and enjoy the mom and pop feel. The owners are really kind and service is great. Not the best Mexican in Miami, but it is pretty good for the area.

First, the place is really small and it's in a shopping plaza, but it's worth the trip if you really want to enjoy a good mexican meal. The salsa that comes with the table chips is really good; it's mild and you can enjoy it, especially if you don't like spicy stuff. We had the flautas, eight little rolled tortillas with guacamole and salad, and the enchiladas with green (tomatillo) sauce. They were really really good. Finally, the best part of that sunday lunch was the Mole Poblano; it was simply amazing! The best mole sauce I ever had, with the right amount of each of its ingredients. It's not the best place when it comes to set up, but it's one of the best mexican meals I had in the Miami area. The service is friendly and will be on top of everything all the time. Will come back over and over.

My husband loves the tacos all pastor from here and doesn't like my tacos de carne asada, but I do. My sister enjoyed her chicken quesadilla because of the guacamole, she said it tasted fresh. The staff is nice even it gets a bit crazy full but it is worth the wait.

Great authentic Mexican food! I'm Mexican so I should know lol. Great location and awesome service! My family and I will be coming back :-)
Good was really good so good I took for my son who's at home a plate!! Only downside is the waitress kind of rushed me to order.

Been here a million times, and I will go a million more. I alwayd have the tampiqueña which is a steak. Its delicious. What really makes this place stand out is the owners, who are always there making sure service is tops.

Great Mexican food! Quesadillas Mexicanas are the best I've ever tried! I highly recommend this original Mexican restaurant.

We were getting out of the car to go to another restaurant, when I saw this place jd yelped it. I'm so happy to had tried this place. Thank you my fellow yelpers! The food was DELICIOUS. Their horchata was one of the best I've had in a long time. See photos of food. Do let the outside deter you. The people were veey friendly and helpful although their English was not the best. I now wish I had listened to my Father and learned Spanish. LOL

Really impressed with the quality of cooking. I enjoyed the chicken breast in green mole---what a treat. The green mole is excellent and quite unique. I highly recommend! My friend had the steak and that too was cooked with care.

I finally found a traditional Mexican restaurant with original Mexican food close to home. Guacamole Was delicious I had the tampiquenA was great. And the staff was very friendly. You can tell is family owned and they take pride in the service they provide. I am for sure going to be one of their regulars now.

Great tacos. What more do i have to say? The staff is always attentive and speedy. They are friendly as well. The restaurant itself is super small and gets full quickly. The food is worth the wait. I go here with my boyfriend all the time. Whenever we're in the neighborhood. never disappoints and always hits the spot. mmm good

Great service and also my favorite Mexican Restaurant. You have to try their steak nachos plus their Carne Tampiquena is a must try!!!

Awesome place. Very family oriented. The food here is delicious. Place is small so if u are really hungry go early, but WELL worth the wait. If u are looking for home cooked Mexican food that WON'T send u running to the bathroom, this is your place. We love it.

It's very unfortunate and with a heavy heart that I write this review because this place has seen me grow up, but being that I just walked out of this place because the owner came and barked at me in front of clients and the server for my friend Marjorie's "negative" review which you will find below then all I have to say is the TRUTH HURTS!!! Also, her review is exactly the resemblance of what occurred, nothing more and nothing less. I should have known better than to come back to this place after the bad experience that "she" had and that made it unpleasant for me BUT we are human and anyone can have an "off" day... Maybe that day they were slammed and the kitchen just wasn't up to standards. Either way if they would have been intelligent they would have offered to turn around the negative experience and make it better. Instead they chose to fight and argue with the customer ... Also, today is October 7th and I can't even recall how many months ago this happened but apparently the owner is still stinging from Marjorie's review so he can just let it burn and hopefully he will stop treating customers like enemies and learn from negative experiences.

I wish I had tried this place sooner. Its a small spot with only a few tables, but the kitchen is putting out some of the best Mexican food ive had. I will definitely be coming back again soon.

Treasured Mexican gem in south Florida where good Mexican food is hard to come by. I've never had such a good chicken quesadilla, even when I lived in Southern California where, good Mexican food is abundant, it did not compare to this place. Can't wait to come back for more!

Came by this place through yelp. I never write reviews but given the terrible service we received I figured I'd share my bad experience. When we got there the place was packed so I thought "hey, they must be doing something right!" We sat down and immediately the waitress brought out their homemade chips, chunky salsa and salsa verde - the salsas were pretty damn good. We placed our order, I ordered the poblano enchiladas, my boyfriend ordered a quesadilla. The food was brought out in a matter of minutes. My boyfriends quesadilla was pretty basic, something I could've done at home. The enchiladas were not so good. I literally took one bite and couldn't bare to go in for a second, my boyfriend tried them and thought that maybe he could take them down so we exchanged plates... That was a fail. The enchiladas were just an outright FAIL. He took two bites out of the enchiladas and just couldn't down them. We flagged down the waitress (which mind you, was nearly impossible to do since she was one of two and running amuck around the place) and informed her that we weren't happy with the enchiladas and wanted something else instead so my boyfriend opted for a steak burrito. The burrito was also brought out in a matter of minutes and was slightly better than the enchiladas but the meat was really chewy and just not all that. So, long story short, when we ask for the check they were charging us for the enchiladas which we expressed we weren't happy with. We asked the waitress why we were being charged and she basically said it was because it wasn't a mistake on her part, that's what we asked for and that's what we got. I was appalled. I've never been to a restaurant where I've had to pay for something I disliked. After a lot of back and fourth, the chef/owner came out and also gave his two cents on the matter and backed what the waitress said. But the other owner, I believe his name was Rogelio was courteous enough to remove the enchiladas from our tab. First and LAST time I'll ever eat there. Their loss!

I have had Mexican food from here several times. It's always been take out and I must say that the food has always been fresh. I haven't had any negative experience at all. Their Nacho is huge!!!!!! I think 4 people can easily enjoy it. Highly recommend.
(5)
Foncho G.
Great food but the strip mall where the restaurant is a little shady specially after dark. Rogelio is a great host but lately he is not there very often. Would definitely go back during lunch hour.

Best Mexican in town, by far. If you want to break out of the chain style restaurants, Los Mayegues is your go to in the PSN, Miami Lakes area. The food is fresh, the beer is cold and the service is great.

Anhara M.
I have been going for the past. 5 years. They owner is really nice and accommodating. My daughter likes her quesadillas half strak half cheese and makes it only for her. The tacos of carne asada are really good. They dont have hard liquor but they do a nice michelada.

Ok I lived in this area for most of my life and this is a diamond. Came with my girlfriend since she ate here a few days earlier. Sat down outside. Service was real fast ordered our Mexican jarritos soda and our chips and salsa where brought out salsa was fresh and the picante (hot sauce) the green one was really hot so be careful. We ordered the authentic Mexican tacos 3 carne asada and the pollo (steak and chicken) lime juice refried beans and yellow rice. Honestly some of the best authentic tacos I have had in a really long time. As far as location it is a small spot but plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Service was surprisingly fast for how busy they actually were. Overall 5 stars for quality of the food for price and exceptional service. I will be back sooner!

After being rudely kicked out of My Little Peru at 9pm cause they were "closed" when they originally close at 930 I ended up at this Mexican spot. Always in the mood for Mexican! Honestly great food. Very authentic and will be suggesting this place to everyone as I'm a regular at The Bend. Burritos and chicken nachos were delicious!
(5)
Santiago A.
By far the best mexican restaurant in the Miami Lakes area. One of their best dishes is the Burrito Mole Poblano, totally recommended! Itry that in almost every mexican restaurant, and this one is exceptional!. I also recommend their burrito Michoacán with chicken... Very good, nice flavors!
(5)
Cristina B.
This has become a go to for lunch. They are fast and food is delicious! I love Mexican food so this hits the spot for me. The prices are very good too. They have daily lunch specials but I typically end up ordering the quesadilla Mexicana... It's so good!

I eat at a few Columbian establishments from the authentic to the Los Perros and Los Verdes (Americanize Columbian food establishments). Here my boyfriend and I ordered empanadas de pollo (chicken) and de carne (meat). They were great and using good ingredients, and unlike many other places the inside of the empanadas weren't mostly corn filler. We also had the Bandeja paisa with chorizo... Awesome. Although the meat wasn't to my liking, once you put that Columbian hot sauce on it -the crack sauce- it's amazing. But then again everything from the pork rinds, chorizo, & empanadas were still great and I slapped the sauce on those too. Also the sangria was good. The best of all is that everything was cheap. The owner or manager was super welcoming. In conclusion, I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Good place! Small tho... I had the tacos (steak) and flan for dessert! Not bad. Definitely would come back.

if this place is Mexican , I'm from Denmark, this is the typical trap of the "mexican" places, this is another tex mex food, I won't said food here is not good, in my opinion is not , but I'm Mexican, so my criteria for mexican food obviously is different, I'm sure Italians , Colombians, Cubans, Puerto Ricans knows what I'm talking about, If you are Mexican looking for a place where to have "Menudo", "Pozole" o "Mole", keep walking bro, this is not the place....

Great service. Friendly owner. Even better authentic mexican meals. Once a week my girlfriend and I visit. You get all the chips and some of the best salsa you want. I order the carne tampiquene and she gets tacos al pastor. God this place is good

Hmmmm great service and delicious lunch for under $25. Tacos al pastor and quesadillas rocked. Our waitress was a sweetheart and those chips and salsa were the real deal. Salsa verde was spicy and I kinda wish the fat girl in me hadn't discovered this place. Uyyyyyy :)

A hidden gem! A combination of fast and efficient service....teamed with tasty food. Ordered 3 dishes. .the chicken tacos..the steak quesadilla and the flautas...all delicious. ..just so tasty Can't wait to come back!

As a vegetarian, I greatly appreciate authentic Mexican fare that accommodates my diet. Having said that, the burrito michoacan is literally the best vegetarian burrito I've ever had. I live all the way up in Hollywood but I look forward to the days that my life brings me close enough to Miami lakes to warrant a visit to Los Magueyes.

Even though this is a mom and pop operation, you would not be able to tell. From the quick, efficient , and amicable service to the outstanding and delicious home cooking ! There's nothing not to like about this cozy neighborhood restaurant, just maybe a little cramped , but the quality of the food and the service make up for it. Highly recommend it !!! By the way the Tortilla Soup was the best we've had in a long time.
(4)
Joe M.
I've been here twice, once a year ago and again May 2014. Both times, this place was amazing. The chips are fresh, the salsas fresh and tasty, and the mole to die for. Service was great, even if we couldn't communicate all that well. Definitely returning.
(5)
H G.
Very good food, very authentic Mexican food. Not a big fan of the tortilla soup, but heard a couple of people saying it was the best they had tried. Everything else was excellent.

Susan S.
Went here on a Tuesday around 330 and the place was pretty full of people. Two of us had steak tacos and one had the pastore tacos. Both very good, their salsa is yummy. Service was very good, all staff genuinely friendly and efficient. The reason for the 4 stars is because they need to heat the plates so the temperature of the rice and beans is hotter. They were kind of lukewarm, but still good!
(4)
James M.
Excellent service and very good food. My chicken verde enchiladas were unique and tasty, with tomatillo sauce and tender chicken. My wife's carne asada tacos, cooked extra asada to her liking, we're larger than your typical authentic tacos. These aren't Taco Bell tacos. These are authentic and good. The rice and beans were also excellent. The staff is quick to tend, and offered extra chips and salsa. The salsa verde was spicy while the red salsa was mild but good. The chips are fresh. Enjoy!
(5)
Daleena S.
Not as great as everyone says it is. Margherita was so sad that Jose Cuervo wrote me an apology letter. The tacos barbacoa was bland as all hell. The rice was the burnt kind that stuck to the cooker; super hard and dry. The refried beans was like wet diarreah. My family had better dishes, the tostadas and the chicken mole burrito was way better than the room temperature garbage I got.
(2)
David A.
Excellent Mexican home style favorite without over complicating their plates. Very attentive Waitress and owner stopped at every table to thank and ask if meal was good. I shamelessly admit I've lived in the area and didn't know it existed till a friend put me on to it. They deliver and I'm not to far. Will come back with the family and friends.

Needed a quick dinner..had to be adventurous..enjoyed the good service and the great chips and salsa!! Had three tacos - they were tasty. I would return if in area and need a quick bite. Truly loved the warm chips and fresh salsa!

DELICIOUS!!! :) I am absolutely inlove with their chips and green salsa. I checked in earlier and posted a pic but for some reason it did not post :( Ugh for technology sometimes. Anyway - There is a girl I work with who is on a strict diet but can never say no to the chips and salsa from this quaint Mexican restaurant. I almost feel bad bringing it into the office sometimes so I will eat it at the restaurant or in my car if I am in a hurry for a quick fix but do not want the whole meal. Although, if you have time or even can just pass by to pick some up, the food is SO great. Everything is fresh and flavorful, the waitresses are quick as well as the kitchen. I have ordered many things from the menu and it has always been yummy. The prices are reasonable and well deserving of the food. It is usually packed for lunch and is a small place so be mindful of that. Although I know the menu is not as versatile as some may like ( a Mexican friend of mine commented on it), I will say the chips are so worth it. If you are in the area and in the mood for some chips and a beer, pass by this place, you will not be disappointed.

Off the hook Mexican food. Very authentic and delicious. The service was attentive and the servers were very pretty. Had the beef quesadilla and Orchata for lunch. Everything was very good and affordable. The Orchata remind it me the "Limbers d leche" my mother use to make me in Puerto Rico when I was a kid.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Miami! The owners are always very friendly and the food is great! Really recommend the nachos and carne asada! The chips taste great and service is fast and efficient!! The only problem is the place is a little small and you can sometimes encounter a wait. Other than that, the wait is always worth it! For dessert- the flan is beyond amazing!
(5)
Jennine R.
Been here a few times for lunch/dinner. Great authentic mexican place! Whenever we don't know where to go, we come her and it's always good. Don't like that the horchata isn't homemade, and unless you order a beer, the cocktails are pre-mixed. Other than that, the food is great!
(4)

I love this place. I would typically drive to Homestead to eat authentic Mexican but finding this place saves me many trips.

Amazing food, amazing service! Great place. The guacamole is outstanding! Will definitely be coming back!

Excellent! Authentic! Relaxed! Friendly! Always come here when I'm home from college. This is a family favorite. I personally don't like the area around it but it is a hidden Gem.

My wife and I came here expecting some authentic Mexican food. We were hoping we found the perfect Mexican restaurant that was close to us. Unfortunately it was not anything to write home about. Don't get me wrong the food was "pretty" good, but not good enough. We have been to Mexico and have tasted authentic Mexican food. I didn't expect this place to be as good as food in Mexico, but I at least expected something that tasted better than On the Border. The food came out way too fast, which usually means "pre-cooked" and it definitely was. I mean come on, the plate is piping hot but the food is warm? You aren't fooling anyone guys. Needless to say we won't be going back, we were disappointed to say the least. Oh and I forgot to mention the Chips tasted store bought, with no salt whatsoever.

This place is great! Delicious food and excellent service. My husband and I went on a Friday night recently and it was very busy. The owner was busting his butt cleaning dishes and serving the customers. It was nice to see an owner that was still doing the work of a server and with the BIGGEST smile on his face! He was so happy to be serving his customers with delicious food. Will be going again soon!

Every once in a while I used to get a craving for Mexican food. After eating here I know crave them. Authentic and delicious Mexican food at very reasonable prices. The portions are pretty big too (at least for me they are). I've always ordered take-out and they have my food ready when they say they will. The place must be good because it's almost always packed. I've tried many different dishes and they have yet to disappoint.
(4)
Azalia R.
Loved everything including the service. The tacos al pastor were delicious and the fajitas were great too. Guacamole was a little salty but not bad. We will definitely be back!

Solid, fresh, good prices. I'll definitely be back when craving Mexican. Items I tried: Shrimp Ceviche - very fresh and delicious Steak Tacos - good, well seasoned Chicken Tacos - very good too Guacamole - too watery, my guess is they use florida avocados rather than the premium Haas avocados. Quesadilla - cheesy and just what you'd expect Chips and Salsa - excellent homemade chips and homemade salsa, be careful or you'll eat too many. Fried Ice Cream - do not order, needs serious improvement, corn flakes are stale, chewy not crunchy at all, not premium ice cream either. A shame.

I would have to say that this is one of the better Mexican Restaurants in the area. Although they have some issues with consistency in regards to both the service and the food, I'll still give it 4 stars for the simple fact that it's so much better than any other mexican restaurant.
I would've never noticed this place without Yelp. The service was great and the restaurant was extremely clean. The chips and salsa were amazing -- so, so fresh. I ordered the Tacos de Carne Asada and was very impressed. The flavor was outstanding. The rice and beans complimented the dish perfectly. If I'm ever back in the Hialeah area, I'll definitely be coming back! Go here --- you won't be disappointed!
(4)
Lynn L.
Lets say you had a good friend who was Mexican. And, his mother is a really good cook. That is what you get here. Really good home cooked food. Homemade chips with 2 kinds of salsa served as soon as you walk in the door. Service was quick and friendly. And, the place was packed.

Wow, I did not expect this place to be so damn good. It's a tiny space crammed into a non descript shopping center with a daycare and rugged video arcade. There's about 10 sets of tables and chairs inside as well as two tables outside so as everyone else says, THIS PLACE IS SMALL. And the food is absolutely delicious so during peak times it does fill up FAST. My friend had the ceviche and it came fresh with a delicious sweet sauce. She gets it every time now because we all know that a good ceviche is hard to find =) They also have the typical fare (tacos, quesadillas, burritos) and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious their vegetarian dishes are. Also had a michelada (see pic) and while it was very basic, for $3.99 they're a steal and the waitresses are so fantastic and quick you'll def be able to get more than a few in one sitting and I'm a- ok with that. Warning: This place may be addicting for some, I have not been able to stay away!
(5)
Claudia J.
Tasty!!! We had the Tampiquena steak, las flautas and the guapamole. Pretty good. Excellent service.

Frodough B.
This is a five star Mexican restaurant for being in the Hialeah/Miami Lakes area. Seriously. We come here about twice a month and we enjoy it every time. The burrito Michoacan and the quesadillas are awesome. The beans nachos are delicious. If you go, be warned it is in a kinda creepy raggedy old looking little shopping center. Please don't just drive away. Park the car, get off and go inside.

Always good. Had the steak fajitas.

First and last time I come to eat here. The service was horrible...I mean worst ive ever experienced. Beers were hot and check was dropped at our table before we could even order dessert. Only reason I gave 2 stars was because the food wasnt horrible and I dont have diarrhea yet.
(2)
Angela B.
Had the chicken and shrimp fajitas - lovely smoky flavor, perfect amount of sizzle. Their chips and salsas were so fresh and spicy and absolutely delectable. Small restaurant in the suburbs, rather unimpressive decor but a great homey feel, attentive service, and wonderful food.
(4)
Gina M.
This is the second time I vist Los Magueyes and I have to say I am not completly impressed. The service was great, but the menu selection was limited. This is more of a tex mex versus a authentic Mexican restaurant. Its a great dive for some quick tex-mex meal. I will say though that I give the chips and salsa 5 Stars.. Next time I think I will just go to eat chips and salsa..yeah they were THAT GOOD! Definetly go and check this place out, the prices are good and the food is quick (which means the food is pre-made) but if you like that then by all means. If you are looking for a quaint place to eat mexican, this is not the place. Loud Mexican music is blarring to the point where you cannot even talk.
(3)
Jackie G.
Good Mexican place in an area that doesn't have many Mexican options. They have horchata, my favorite. And on the weekends they have posole and carnitas. It get's pretty full.
(4)
Eli G.
This is a small family owned place. Their chips and salsa are really good. There is almost never a wait. I order takeout all the time.
(4)
Melany U.
What a wonderful little place. Can't judge all the food because I only ever have the California burrito and can't seem to order anything else. Very we'll priced and so delicious. A great example of a small business restaurant done right.
(5)
David M.
Good authentic Mexican food, don't let the small place fool you. Chips and salsa are the best. feels like home made Mexican food.
(4)
Nicole V.
WHY had I not been here before? I just left this place and it's awesome. We started off with chips and salsa, then ordered tacos and chicken fajitas. Everything was outstanding but I liked the tacos best. The waitress was soo sweet and very apologetic for the wait, she even gave us a free flan on the house! I hadn't even noticed the wait at all, maybe I would've if I had been in a hurry though. I'll be back here again and again.

Tati M.
Extraordinary restaurant! Seems like a whole in the wall, located in an unpretentious shopping center but oh wow this place is delicious! I have tried almost everything on the menu and never have o been disappointed and I am Mexican food addict and have been around but this is my favorite! This family owned restaurant is a rare gem! Recommend it :)

Gustavo A. L.
We came here excited with the premise that were finally going to have some true authentic Mexican Food in Miami - We it is run by Mexicans and they certainly know their food - but the quality is low and the prices are high so the final result was a big sigh of disappointment. The service was decent, the portions are OK but again, the quality of the food is low - This is not what we were searching for in terms of good and authentic Mexican food in Miami.
(3)
Karen L.
This is definitely a hole in the wall restaurant but the entrees definitely delivered! Very very authentic and delicious. The only downside is that the salsa that comes out the table are two extremes. HOT and mild. I'm an in the middle type of gal so I was disappointed about that, but if that's the only downside then they are doing a ton right! If you are in the area check it out! Like I said, Hole In the Wall but you will leave full and happy :)

Been coming here for a few years now. Quality of food and quick service have been consistent every time, one of our favorites restaurants, highly recommended!

This place is definitely more authentic than the large chain restaurants in the area but the food is not really that impressive. The chips and salsa are delicious. The staff is very nice. The food pretty much seems microwaved. Like they have large batches in the back and just reheat throughout the day. I prefer my food made to order. But I will admit this is my go to place when I'm craving some authentic Mexican. We actually used them to cater an event and the food was very good. I'd like to give it 3.5 stars (based on the fact that the food is not "fresh"/made to order) but can't figure out how on the app so I just rounded up! :)

I came here because of the good reviews and it did not disappoint. Cozy little place, very colorful with nice decor. The service is fantastic, very quick and our waitress asked us more than once if we were doing fine. Chips and salsa were excellent, and they give you a lot. I ordered the Steak Quesadilla which came with refried beans and sour cream. When I asked for hot sauce, the waitress brought out your standard flavorful mild sauce, Valentina, and a small bowl of smoked pepper sauce which was really tasty; just hot enough to satisfy my high spice tolerance and give me the endorphin rush i was craving. Not to mention the Pico de Gallo inside of the quesadilla tasted like it was fresh. To wash it down I ordered two Micheladas over the course of my meal, which were perfectly refreshing and at four dollars each, very reasonably priced. I can not recommend this place enough and I will definitely be going back!

We came here because is was on one of the best of list in Miami new times. We frequent here. Dining area is small and always very clean. Staff is attentive. You just have to try the Quesadilla Micoacan with chicken!!!!

Doesn't look like much but believe me it is. This place has the most authentic Mexican food in the area. I love the Pastor tacos and their green Mole is amazing. They give unlimited chips and salsa, the portions are fair for the prices, and the service is great. I've never been disappointed when I come here.

Everything is yummy here. authentic Mexican food. Its a small place but the staff is super nice. I've introduced this place to several of my friends and they all love it!

Food is tasty and better than all the other Tex-mex restaurants in the area. The staff is friendly and courteous. The food is of good proportion. However, if the place gets too packed the staff gets a bit overwhelmed and the wait is a bit longer. However one of friend thinks that the "mole there is AWESOME!"

I have eaten here twice, the first time was good enough that it made me want to visit it again two weeks later. Unfortunately the second visit wasn't as rewarding, the enchilada was so bland it was like eating boiled beef.

The best Mexican food in South Florida. Make no mistake about it, this is a hole in the wall. But, it is clean, the service is friendly, the prices are fair and the food is amazing. I have brought people from Texas, Arizona, and even Mexico to Los Magueyes. I've never heard a complaint. My favorite is the quesadilla with spinach and mushrooms. It is amazing. The flautas seem to be the favorite amongst my guests. As soon as you sit down, they bring you chips and two types of salsa. The green salsa is spicy and fantastic. The red salsa is mild and tasty. This is a great choice for Mexican in Miami.

Delicious food and extremely attentive service make this an excellent spot--decor is kitschy Mexican, but it is clearly a family-owned place that delivers delicious, high-quality food at a reasonable price. Run don't walk!

Very few places in Miami offer truly authentic Mexican food. Los Magueyes is your best bet here. It is a small place located in a shopping center right outside of Palm Springs North. It is out in the suburbs, but well worth the trip. The place is small and family-owned. Service is quick and attentive. Food is fresh and tastes home cooked. Prices are fairly reasonable. I recommend it all around.

I love this Mexican Shop. The things I usually order (repeatedly) are the following items: Mexican Salad with grilled chicken (comes with avocado dressing)Steak Nachos the besttttttttttt Mexican chicken quesadilla (which is different from the original kind) Mushroom & spinach quesadilla chips & the best salsa you will ever taste

This place has the best Mexican food. It's genuine, authentic and fresh. The service is fast and the 2 girls are on point always making sure your table has chips and salsa (which is unlimited and free), and your drinks full!

If there were 6 stars Los Magueyez would totally get them! ALL gold. Miami Lakes has a few Mexican restaurants in the area but few measure up to the authenticity of this little spot. The service is AMAZING all staff is always pleasantly welcoming an willing to go out of their way to make your experience with them a special one. The prices are not the lowest but in all reality it is the same price as some of the other Mexican spots in the area with 5x the quality. They do not serve CHIMICHANGAS, if you know anything about Mexican food you know that a spot who does is usually not authentic as Chimichnagas are an American creation. The Ceviche is to die for as well all the burritos. Don't forget to ask your server about items not on the menu... If you really love Mexican you will be surprised to find they even have menudo on some days. Hands down favorite spot for Mexican!

Family owned, owner takes care of you, fast great friendly service, awesome home made Mexican food. Dade county and Broward county lack of mexican food. This place is hidden and in a not too nice plaza but it is worth the drive. Me and my friends take trips from Weston to Miami lakes to get our Mexican food. Their ceviche is awesome, so their chicken enchiladas, and if you like mole, it's a must have!

Delicious hole in the wall that beats those big Mexican food chains across the highway. Everything was so tasteful and so homemade. It tasted like someone's grandmother was cooking in the back. The staff was very attentive and friendly. This is a great place for lunch and if you looking for a quick low key place for dinner. I didn't give them the full 5 stars because they only sell beer; how is a Mexican place not have tequila?? A girl needs her margarita ;) but overall everything was wonderful. I wiped my plate clean!

Went after golfing at Country club of Miami. Yelped it and went for it, not sorry we did. Very cheap and very good. Large portions. Small place, it's got that cozy, genuine feel.

My boyfriend and I, mexican cuisine lovers, heard of this hidden gem from the Miami New Times and had to try it. What a dinner! The food is perfectly cooked/ seasoned. The chips and salsa are delicious so it sets you up for the main course. The service is great - fast but not too fast, ha. We are locals to Miami Lakes, I'm so happy we found such a great place close to home!

My boyfriend and I dined at Los Magueyes for the very first time. Despite their location, restaurant was well kept, clean, and nicely decorated. We were impressed with their authentic cuisine and speedy service. As soon as we were seated, the hostess greeted us and placed commentary chips and salsa. Tacos tasted homemade! This is the best kept secret in Miami Lakes... We will be returning.

I was in the mood of Mexican food and found this place here on yelp. The reviews are right this place has great food! I had some chicken quesadilla and it was so tasty i loved it! The location is small but is very welcoming and the staff is fast and very attentive.I like the fact that they have authentic Mexican food. Don Burrito was our spot here in maimi lakes but since they went out of business Los MAgueyez is our new Mexican spot!

This is great place for good Mexican food, especially the carnitas tacos. Its a small really nice, clean, family owned place. They have a fun Cinco de Mayo celebration every year. The green salsa they offer with their chis and salsa is gooood, little spicy, great on tacos. The prices are very reasonable.

I knocked off a star, then gave it 5 stars, and then knocked it off again! Why? Well, the little brat behind the counter tried to be nice, but she failed utterably! I wanted something with beef and also with vegetables so ANY choice of a burrito ($8.95-$9.95) was out, even though they had an all veggie one and one with beef and no veggies! I asked if they could add veggies to the beef one or beef to the veggies one, and she was like "the menu is unchangeable!" I couldn't believe that such a small mom and pop restaurant had that way of thinking - in such local establishments, you should allow room for flexibility to appease your customers. It isn't disastrously costly to make such a simple change unless, of course, you had things premade and precooked - and I hope it wasn't that! But I had a bitter feeling and some worries about my food when such compensation wouldn't be taken, so I settled to order the more expensive fajitas ($12.95) since it had beef and vegetables (onions, bell peppers, tomatoes) - the ONLY dish in the entire menu to have such a combination. Then... the food came out. I tried it, and I was surprised - the tortillas tasted fresh (DEFINITELY an achievement for ANY Mexican restaurant in Miami)! The fajitas came out to be very good. The chicken quesadillas were also really good. I felt like this restaurant can hold its own even in Texas. Then, I had to take off another star, not because of the price (which I could have done for that reason anyways since it is a little overpriced for such type of normal Mexican food in a run down strip mall), but also they did not pack tortilla chips (extra charge) and two orders of rice and beans (forgot them apparently) for my order for 3 people to go. If I was paying more for Mexican food than a normal place anywhere in the country (believe me, you could get the same for two-third or half the price out in the West), then I would have expected them to be more careful about what they're putting in the bag before stapling the bag and handing it over to me to take out. The food alone saved the restaurant from a poor rating. The ambience and decor are also nice - very Southwestern. The bathrooms are clean and nice. And the snowball dessert tempts me (fried vanilla ice cream). Oh, for chocoholics, don't come here, or get your chocolate fixing elsewhere - there's no chocolate offerings for dessert. Not even a chocolate candy in the candy bin. There's another location in Greenacres. EDITED: I went back for the second try... the prices were still exorbitantly high for this kind of food, in my opinion. The meat didn't seem to be of a high caliber, and the onions were too sauteed. The tortillas may have been store bought but then cooked on the premises again to bring out the "freshness." All in all, this is still the place for Mexican food in Northwestern Miami-Dade as far as I know.

I love this place. When ever I am in the Miami Lakes area I like to stop in for the best Mexican food in the area. Los Magueyes is run by two Mexican brothers who worked in proffesional kitchens in Chicago, and came south for the warmth of sunny Florida. It's basic Mexican, done right. The refried beans are good, the best in the area, and their beef is always tender, savory and delicious. Try anything on the menu. "It's all goooooood!"

Little out of the way place in a strip mall offers authentic Mexican food of moderate quality. Service was excellent and my food was hot. Not too expensive. Dining tables are too close together and the space is very small. I drop in for lunch every once in a while. On the whole the place is OK.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

(3)Nat L.
(2)Kevin W.
So second time of eating here. First time I got steak quesadilla and this time I got enchiladas verses. I love authentic Mexican and this place fits that bill. Refried beans are really good and the green sala is spicy and full of flavor. I would highly recommend this place to eat.
(4)Krystal S.
(5)Rebecca L.
Clean, friendly staff, very small inside about 8 tables. Tried the tacos, quesadillas, fajitas and burrito ranchero the food was fantastic, very authentic for Miami. Free chips & salsa a big hit with hungry patrons.
(4)Nathalie P.
(4)Leslye M.
(4)Cyrille B.
Restaurant always full now i know why , the food is exelente , great friendly waitress , they know the Menu Deserve 5 stars
(5)Alexa C.
I can't believe this place has anything less than good reviews. Mexi food is kinda hard to order around Miami (unless you're in Homestead). I've been coming here since I was a kid and I'm a sucker for the Flautas with Molé sauce. The tortilla soup is definitely a 9 out of 10 with respects to authenticity. Most places just shoot whatever in a cup while wearing a sombrero and they call it Mexican cuisine. I could tell they put a lot of heart into the food they serve. I definitely recommend the chilaquiles. There's also a steak nacho dish that my friend orders all the time, she loves it. I wish they had actual alcohol and not only wine but whatever. What's nice is that they serve you chips con fresh salsa as you sit and wait for your food. It's a nice family-owned spot close to PSN that never disappoints me. When in doubt, order ceviche !
(5)Farrah S.
(3)Al P.
(5)Mildre T.
My husband loves the tacos all pastor from here and doesn't like my tacos de carne asada, but I do. My sister enjoyed her chicken quesadilla because of the guacamole, she said it tasted fresh. The staff is nice even it gets a bit crazy full but it is worth the wait.
(4)Desiree N.
Great authentic Mexican food! I'm Mexican so I should know lol. Great location and awesome service! My family and I will be coming back :-)

Blown away!!! That's really all you need to say, this has to be up there with one of the most amazing experiences when it comes to eating Mexican food I have ever had. I know you must be reading this and think to yourself really this place? out of everywhere in South Florida ? I'm telling you, food was delicious. I've been to Mexico several times and eaten at some of the most well-known restaurants, for Mexican food. In stature this place can't win, but in food there heavyweight. To think it's right off the corner of my house, score!!!!! This restaurant is in a little shopping center off of 67th Ave in Miami Lakes. Walking in I literally felt like I was somewhere in Mexico City, I can assure you this is not a compliment, this is a hole in the wall, nevertheless the oranges the yellows the greens, the inside had all the makings of a traditional Mexican location, from different color plates to Mexican Waitresses, I thought to myself what did I get myself into, then I noticed wait the place is packed with people and I glanced to the wall and see a new times award for best authentic Mexican restaurant. We sit down and are immediately greeted by the waitress she brings over chips with salsa, the chips were amazing they weren't drenched in oil they were nice crisp and hot, The salsa had great flavor lots of cilantro and garlic can be tasted right away. Ladies and gentlemen watch out for the green sauce this thing is toxically hot, if you like hot this is the way to go, make sure to pour a little bit of this on your tacos if you want to add that kick. I ordered nachos as an appetizer my girlfriend got fajitas and I ended up getting a quesadilla, the nachos were amazing they were soft but crispy, juicy and tangy and, the garlic and onions, beans and never ending flow cheese was spectacular, topped off with a piece of well cooked Churrascco on top made all this in your mouth orgasmic. The fajitas, were also splendid! The onions were sautéed to perfection, rich in flavor and spices. The chicken had good taste, you can tell it had been marinated just right. Tortilla was very soft and you can taste the corn. My quesadilla was also very good, the steak was chopped in small bite size pieces with refried beans and cheese paired with jalapeños and sour cream. In my belly !!! Very Very good, once again with all those combinations you can still taste the marinated of the steak. Very well made. Service was very good, our server attended to all out needs. All for 50 bucks with good tip. You might be scared at first when you look at the view coming in and you need to understand this is a small location but the food is authentic and makes up for the cosmetics. When you think about it that feeling when you walk in and think to yourself by taking a seat and glancing around and feeling you've lost yourself somewhere in Mexico City might not be a bad thing...
(5)Susan H.
Good was really good so good I took for my son who's at home a plate!! Only downside is the waitress kind of rushed me to order.
(4)Maritza S.
Been here a million times, and I will go a million more. I alwayd have the tampiqueña which is a steak. Its delicious. What really makes this place stand out is the owners, who are always there making sure service is tops.
(5)Andrea D.
Great Mexican food! Quesadillas Mexicanas are the best I've ever tried! I highly recommend this original Mexican restaurant.
(5)Lee Z.
LOL
(5)Michelle A.
Really impressed with the quality of cooking. I enjoyed the chicken breast in green mole---what a treat. The green mole is excellent and quite unique. I highly recommend! My friend had the steak and that too was cooked with care.
(4)Lisandra S.
I finally found a traditional Mexican restaurant with original Mexican food close to home. Guacamole Was delicious I had the tampiquenA was great. And the staff was very friendly. You can tell is family owned and they take pride in the service they provide. I am for sure going to be one of their regulars now.
(5)Vanessa P.
Great tacos. What more do i have to say? The staff is always attentive and speedy. They are friendly as well. The restaurant itself is super small and gets full quickly. The food is worth the wait. I go here with my boyfriend all the time. Whenever we're in the neighborhood. never disappoints and always hits the spot. mmm good
(4)Sanjeet P.
Great service and also my favorite Mexican Restaurant. You have to try their steak nachos plus their Carne Tampiquena is a must try!!!
(5)Jenny H.
Awesome place. Very family oriented. The food here is delicious. Place is small so if u are really hungry go early, but WELL worth the wait. If u are looking for home cooked Mexican food that WON'T send u running to the bathroom, this is your place. We love it.
(5)Christian P.
(1)Desi M.
I wish I had tried this place sooner. Its a small spot with only a few tables, but the kitchen is putting out some of the best Mexican food ive had. I will definitely be coming back again soon.
(5)Jessica M.
Treasured Mexican gem in south Florida where good Mexican food is hard to come by. I've never had such a good chicken quesadilla, even when I lived in Southern California where, good Mexican food is abundant, it did not compare to this place. Can't wait to come back for more!
(5)Marjorie S.
Their loss!
(1)Yunarky H.
I have had Mexican food from here several times. It's always been take out and I must say that the food has always been fresh. I haven't had any negative experience at all. Their Nacho is huge!!!!!! I think 4 people can easily enjoy it. Highly recommend.
(5)Foncho G.
Great food but the strip mall where the restaurant is a little shady specially after dark. Rogelio is a great host but lately he is not there very often. Would definitely go back during lunch hour.
(4)Mr M.
Best Mexican in town, by far. If you want to break out of the chain style restaurants, Los Mayegues is your go to in the PSN, Miami Lakes area. The food is fresh, the beer is cold and the service is great.
(4)Anhara M.
I have been going for the past. 5 years. They owner is really nice and accommodating. My daughter likes her quesadillas half strak half cheese and makes it only for her. The tacos of carne asada are really good. They dont have hard liquor but they do a nice michelada.
(4)Yusef S.
(5)Kristen L.
(5)Santiago A.
(5)Cristina B.
This has become a go to for lunch. They are fast and food is delicious! I love Mexican food so this hits the spot for me. The prices are very good too. They have daily lunch specials but I typically end up ordering the quesadilla Mexicana... It's so good!
(5)Diana A.

(4)Edgar L.
if this place is Mexican , I'm from Denmark, this is the typical trap of the "mexican" places, this is another tex mex food, I won't said food here is not good, in my opinion is not , but I'm Mexican, so my criteria for mexican food obviously is different, I'm sure Italians , Colombians, Cubans, Puerto Ricans knows what I'm talking about, If you are Mexican looking for a place where to have "Menudo", "Pozole" o "Mole", keep walking bro, this is not the place....
(1)Sharon G.
Authentic Mexican food. Great atmosphere. They treat you like family. Good and speedy service.
(5)Daniel R.
Great service. Friendly owner. Even better authentic mexican meals. Once a week my girlfriend and I visit. You get all the chips and some of the best salsa you want. I order the carne tampiquene and she gets tacos al pastor. God this place is good
(5)Joanna R.
Hmmmm great service and delicious lunch for under $25. Tacos al pastor and quesadillas rocked. Our waitress was a sweetheart and those chips and salsa were the real deal. Salsa verde was spicy and I kinda wish the fat girl in me hadn't discovered this place. Uyyyyyy :)
(5)Rafael M.
A hidden gem! A combination of fast and efficient service....teamed with tasty food. Ordered 3 dishes. .the chicken tacos..the steak quesadilla and the flautas...all delicious. ..just so tasty Can't wait to come back!
(5)B K.
(5)Julio M.
(4)Joe M.
I've been here twice, once a year ago and again May 2014. Both times, this place was amazing. The chips are fresh, the salsas fresh and tasty, and the mole to die for. Service was great, even if we couldn't communicate all that well. Definitely returning.
(5)H G.
Very good food, very authentic Mexican food. Not a big fan of the tortilla soup, but heard a couple of people saying it was the best they had tried. Everything else was excellent.
(4)Susan S.
(4)James M.
Enjoy!
(5)Daleena S.
(2)David A.
(4)Belinda B.
Needed a quick dinner..had to be adventurous..enjoyed the good service and the great chips and salsa!! Had three tacos - they were tasty. I would return if in area and need a quick bite. Truly loved the warm chips and fresh salsa!
(3)Ruddy C.
I am very much into Mexican Food and this place was outstanding and the food was delicious, very typical mexican dishes served with quick and friendly service at a good price.
(5)Leticia C.
(4)Jose M.
(5)Jenny S.
Great, great food! Friendly staff and quick service. A little hole in the wall but great food and you leave feeling very satisfied!
(5)Kyle K.
(5)Jennine R.
Been here a few times for lunch/dinner. Great authentic mexican place! Whenever we don't know where to go, we come her and it's always good. Don't like that the horchata isn't homemade, and unless you order a beer, the cocktails are pre-mixed. Other than that, the food is great!
(4)Brian M.
I love this place. I would typically drive to Homestead to eat authentic Mexican but finding this place saves me many trips.
(5)Lais V.
Amazing food, amazing service! Great place. The guacamole is outstanding! Will definitely be coming back!
(5)Marcela B.
Excellent! Authentic! Relaxed! Friendly! Always come here when I'm home from college. This is a family favorite. I personally don't like the area around it but it is a hidden Gem.
(5)Erick M.
(2)Anthony G.
No word,i do not captive
(1)Elenis C.
(5)Lola F.
(4)Azalia R.
Loved everything including the service. The tacos al pastor were delicious and the fajitas were great too. Guacamole was a little salty but not bad. We will definitely be back!
(4)maor r.
A shame.
(4)Marcos D.
I would have to say that this is one of the better Mexican Restaurants in the area. Although they have some issues with consistency in regards to both the service and the food, I'll still give it 4 stars for the simple fact that it's so much better than any other mexican restaurant.
(4)Jessica C.
Wow, wow, and wow. This place is literally a hole in the wall in the most unexpected of shopping centers that one would never think much of, because I know I didn't. Lol. As I said before, if you didn't know this place was here, you would think it's a complete afterthought. My boyfriend knows I'm a lover of Mexican food and thought we should try it for lunch. So we did. We walked in and it's a little hole in the wall place with traditional Mexican decor. Upon seating ourselves, a server greeted us and gave us tortilla chips and fresh salsa which is the norm for all Mexican restaurants. These I have to say we're pretty amazing. Most of the time the tortilla chips are over salted or overcooked and the salsa tastes generic. These were out of this world and were highly addicting. They were nice and warm and you can taste the freshness in the salsa. For my entree I ordered the chicken fajitas and my boyfriend ordered a steak quesadilla. When our food arrived, the portions were very generous. The flavor was amazing and the chicken tasted like my mom had it at home fresh off the grill with perfect amount of lime flavoring. The tortillas were so fresh and warm and with the perfect cooked sautéed onions, it couldn't be more perfect. My boyfriends quesadilla was just as tasty and full of flavor and freshness. After we were done, we didn't have room for dessert, but the fried ice cream I imagine would probably be pretty epic. I can't wait to come back soon!
(5)Erin N.
(4)Lynn L.
Lets say you had a good friend who was Mexican. And, his mother is a really good cook. That is what you get here. Really good home cooked food. Homemade chips with 2 kinds of salsa served as soon as you walk in the door. Service was quick and friendly. And, the place was packed.
(4)Frankie A.
(5)Claudia J.
Tasty!!! We had the Tampiquena steak, las flautas and the guapamole. Pretty good. Excellent service.
(3)Frodough B.
(5)Erik G.
Always good. Had the steak fajitas.
(5)Good E.
First and last time I come to eat here. The service was horrible...I mean worst ive ever experienced. Beers were hot and check was dropped at our table before we could even order dessert. Only reason I gave 2 stars was because the food wasnt horrible and I dont have diarrhea yet.
(2)Angela B.
(4)Gina M.
(3)Jackie G.
Good Mexican place in an area that doesn't have many Mexican options. They have horchata, my favorite. And on the weekends they have posole and carnitas. It get's pretty full.
(4)Eli G.
This is a small family owned place. Their chips and salsa are really good. There is almost never a wait. I order takeout all the time.
(4)Melany U.
What a wonderful little place. Can't judge all the food because I only ever have the California burrito and can't seem to order anything else. Very we'll priced and so delicious. A great example of a small business restaurant done right.
(5)David M.
Good authentic Mexican food, don't let the small place fool you. Chips and salsa are the best. feels like home made Mexican food.
(4)Nicole V.
(5)Tati M.
(5)Gustavo A.
(3)Karen L.
(4)Sheila C.
Best hidden secret of Miami Lakes. food and service is A+. My family and I love to go there. Small business with a personal touch. Try the Nachos.
(4)Dc A.
Been coming here for a few years now. Quality of food and quick service have been consistent every time, one of our favorites restaurants, highly recommended!
(5)Evelyn F.
(4)Rick D.
(5)Michael L.
We came here because is was on one of the best of list in Miami new times. We frequent here. Dining area is small and always very clean. Staff is attentive. You just have to try the Quesadilla Micoacan with chicken!!!!
(4)Karina B.
Doesn't look like much but believe me it is. This place has the most authentic Mexican food in the area. I love the Pastor tacos and their green Mole is amazing. They give unlimited chips and salsa, the portions are fair for the prices, and the service is great. I've never been disappointed when I come here.
(5)Lisa R.
Everything is yummy here. authentic Mexican food. Its a small place but the staff is super nice. I've introduced this place to several of my friends and they all love it!
(5)Yesy F.
(3)Hiram D.
I have eaten here twice, the first time was good enough that it made me want to visit it again two weeks later. Unfortunately the second visit wasn't as rewarding, the enchilada was so bland it was like eating boiled beef.
(2)Stephen L.
(5)Anna W.
Delicious food and extremely attentive service make this an excellent spot--decor is kitschy Mexican, but it is clearly a family-owned place that delivers delicious, high-quality food at a reasonable price. Run don't walk!
(4)Andy B.
(4)GINNA R.
(4)Juan M.
This place has the best Mexican food. It's genuine, authentic and fresh. The service is fast and the 2 girls are on point always making sure your table has chips and salsa (which is unlimited and free), and your drinks full!
(5)Isabella R.
(5)Carla B.
(4)Lairen T.
(4)Lauren T.
Went after golfing at Country club of Miami. Yelped it and went for it, not sorry we did. Very cheap and very good. Large portions. Small place, it's got that cozy, genuine feel.
(5)D M.
(5)Doris P.
(4)Gloria P.
(4)GLORIA G.
(4)Jordan N.
(4)Justo M.
(4)A. H.
Little out of the way place in a strip mall offers authentic Mexican food of moderate quality. Service was excellent and my food was hot. Not too expensive. Dining tables are too close together and the space is very small. I drop in for lunch every once in a while. On the whole the place is OK.
